This Cherry Chocolate Smoothie tastes like drinking black forest cake batter, but the best part is that it’s entirely healthy! For a high energy breakfast Whip up this vegan, paleo, and grain-free smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of frozen cherries
  • 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
  • 48oz of unsweetened coconut milk* (depending on how thick you like your smoothies)
  • Optional: ¼ tsp of almond extract
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • *you can use your favorite dairy alternative (almond/cashew/soy milk)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until smooth
  2. Pour into you favorite smoothie consuming vessel (bowl, glass, mason jar, blender bottle)
  3. Optional: Garnish with extra frozen cherries
