Cherry Ginger Vanilla Smoothie Bowl

This cherry ginger vanilla smoothie bowl is beautifully balanced with sweet juicy cherries and spicy ginger. But we all know the best part of a smoothie bowl are the toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of frozen cherries
  • 1 tsp of peeled fresh ginger root, chopped
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • ½ tsp of vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup of vanilla almond milk
  • Toppings
  • ⅓ cup of granola
  • ¼ cup of crystalized ginger
  • 5 fresh raspberries
  • 6 fresh blackberries
  • 1 tbsp of almond butter

Instructions

  1. In a high powered blender or food processor blend together banana, cherries, ginger, protein powder, vanilla extract, almond milk and blend until smooth
  2. Serve smoothie in a medium size bowl and top with granola, raspberries, blackberries, crystalized ginger and almond butter
